Established in 1966 at the Kisumu Municipal Stadium, the Kisumu Show has grown into a cornerstone of regional development. It relocated to its current expansive site at Mamboleo Showground in 1987, providing more space for exhibitors and visitors.
In 2010, the show was elevated to regional status, recognizing its strategic role in fostering economic ties across East Africa. Today, it attracts exhibitors and visitors from neighboring countries such as Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, and Uganda, making it a true cross-border celebration of innovation and culture.
