Meru National Show was started in 1968 at Kinoru stadium. It was later moved to Gitoru Showground in 1990. The show is now located along the Meru – Nanyuki road, 4 kms from Meru town. The Show caters for Meru, Tharaka Nithi, and Isiolo counties.

The above charges are exclusive ksh.2, 000/=, 3,500/=, 2,000/=, 3,000/=, 200/= Being Show Logo, Conservancy, Essential Sticker ,Catalogue Fee And Pre- Show respectively which are compulsory. For renting an existing building a lease fee is thereby charged.
