Foreword from CEO

Advancing Climate Resilience Through Innovation and Sustainability

As we approach the final quarter of the year, I am pleased
to invite you to our upcoming events: the Mombasa International
Show, the Central Kenya National Show in
Nyeri, the Baringo Branch Show in Kabarnet, the Nairobi International
Trade Fair, the South-Western Kenya Branch Show in Migori,
and the Kitale National Show.

Our shows and trade fairs are vibrant platforms that
highlight the strength and resilience of Kenya’s agricultural
sector. These events embody the spirit of innovation, expertise,
and commitment essential for shaping the future
of our agriculture under this year’s theme: “Promoting Climate-
Smart Agriculture and Trade Initiatives for Sustainable
Economic Growth.”

In an era marked by climate shifts and evolving global
markets, this theme serves as a guiding beacon towards
resilient agriculture. It emphasizes the need for innovation
and adaptation to ensure lasting prosperity. Our shows are
designed to foster economic advancement while empowering
Kenyan communities and preserving our ecological
heritage.

These expos provide exceptional opportunities for learning,
dialogue, and forging partnerships. They act as hubs
where insights are shared, experiences exchanged, and
vital industry connections are made. In today’s interconnected
world, these events inspire groundbreaking ideas
and collaborative efforts that lead to practical solutions.

Having successfully hosted nine shows this year, featuring
cutting-edge technologies from our exhibitors, we invite
all stakeholders to engage fully in the array of activities
on offer. This is a chance to celebrate the perseverance of
our farmers, the creativity of our entrepreneurs, and the
dedication of all contributors to the growth and dynamism
of agriculture.

Agriculture plays a crucial role in Kenya’s economy, significantly
contributing to GDP and being central to the National
Government’s vision for inclusive growth. Our Shows
and Trade Fairs are key venues for showcasing emerging
trends, innovations, and new technologies.

On behalf of the Agricultural Society of Kenya, I extend
my gratitude to all our exhibitors and partners for their
steadfast support and participation. Your involvement has
been vital in making our Society a dynamic and forward-thinking
entity. We remain dedicated to nurturing and
strengthening these collaborations.
