As we step into 2026, the Agricultural Society of Kenya continues to advance the 2025–2029 Strategic Plan, a transformative blueprint designed to strengthen innovation, sustainability, and excellence across agriculture, trade, and allied sectors. This plan builds on past achievements, incorporates key lessons learned, and charts a forward-looking path for impact-driven growth.
Over the past year, we have reflected on our milestones, assessed our operating environment, and identified strategic priorities across our four key result areas. Our focus now is turning strategy into action, ensuring that every initiative, programme, and event contributes meaningfully to our mission.
Implementation Priorities for 2026
To achieve our objectives, the management team is focused on:
- Embedding performance frameworks and KPIs to track progress and accountability at all levels
- Strengthening risk management to maintain agility in a dynamic environment
- Driving execution through structured monitoring and evaluation, from Council oversight to individual performance contracts
- Equipping our staff and stakeholders with the skills and resources necessary to deliver impact
- Leveraging strategic insights to maintain competitiveness and relevance across agriculture and trade
Collaboration and Participation
We recognise that sustained success requires partnership. We call upon our Members, Branches, government agencies, private sector partners, development agencies, and other stakeholders to actively engage with our programmes and participate in the 2026 Calendar of Events. Together, we can transform plans into measurable outcomes that benefit the agriculture and trade sectors and the nation at large.
We are confident that 2026 will be a year of meaningful progress, reinforcing A.S.K as “Your Agricultural and Trade Partner of Choice.”
