As I assume the responsibility of serving as the National Chairperson of the Agricultural Society of Kenya (A.S.K), I do so with a great sense of duty and humility, guided by the Society’s vision and her enduring commitment to excellence.
I take up this role mindful of the remarkable service rendered by the late Madam Edith Onzere, whose leadership played a significant role in positioning the Society on a firm path of growth and transformation. We remain grateful for her dedication and stewardship.
In this new chapter, I reaffirm my commitment to serve with diligence, prudence and impartiality, firmly anchored in the principles of good corporate governance and in faithful adherence to the Society’s Constitution. I will uphold transparency, integrity and accountability in all our undertakings, ensuring that the Society’s mandate and long-term interests remain central to every decision we make.
Guided by the strategic direction already set, we will continue to advance key priorities, including fast-tracking the development and operationalisation of the A.S.K masterplans; addressing and resolving outstanding land matters affecting the Society; driving the full implementation of the Strategic Plan; and strengthening and expanding partnerships that advance our mission and amplify impact across the agriculture and trade sectors.
With the support of the Council, Management, staff and our valued stakeholders and partners, I am confident that together we will sustain this momentum and build an even stronger, more impactful Society.
