The Eastern Kenya (Embu) show was established in 1968 at the Embu Stadium. In 1995, the show was relocated from the town centre to Njukiri showground which is approximately 6 kms from Embu town. The Show caters for Embu, Kirinyaga and Tharaka Nithi counties.

The exhibitors that participate in the A.S.K Embu show include stakeholders in the following sectors:- Agriculture, Livestock, Horticulture, Wildlife related activities, Agro Industries and the Finance Industry.

PERFORMANCE
The performance of the branch is improving and strategies to control expenditure while increasing the show income and surplus on show have been put in place.
